Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Westchester is seeking a Cook to work closely with our Dining Services Manager. You will handle food ordering, preparation, and delivery, and maintain kitchen sanitation.

You will ensure meals are nutritious and appetizing, manage supplies and equipment, and provide excellent service to residents and families, both internal and external.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months’ experience in a food service department preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Experience working with the elderly is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Food ordering, preparation and delivery, and kitchen sanitation.
• Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals for residents.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure customer service to residents and families.
• Collaborate with Dining Services Manager and team.
