Job summary

Fleet Landing WELLInspired Living is seeking a Cook for Health Services to organize and prepare meals in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment. You will coordinate meal preparation with fellow culinarians and ensure adherence to dietary and safety standards.

The role requires at least a high school education, ability to read/write/speak English, and one year of cooking experience in an institutional or restaurant setting is preferred.

• Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions.
• One year cooking experience in institutional or restaurant setting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares quality food in accordance with state and federal regulations and Fleet Landing policies.
• Prepares meals per planned menus and adheres to temperature standards.
• Serves food according to therapeutic/mechanically altered diet regulations.
• Prepares food using standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Completes daily or scheduled cleaning duties per policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Required: High school education preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.

Experience: One (1) year cooking experience in an institutional or restaurant setting is desirable
