Job summary

Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals who strive to make a difference in residents' lives. You will prepare and serve meals, follow recipes, and ensure high-quality presentation while maintaining strict sanitation standards.

This role requires at least one year of cooking experience, Serv-Safe certification (or willingness to obtain), and a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product.
• Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director.
• Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation.
• Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.

About the Opportunity

Ensures efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff. Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product. Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned. Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation. Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.
