Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents while upholding a safe, organized kitchen. You’ll take ownership of your work, act with integrity, and contribute to a culture that values consistency, safety, and professionalism.

In a healthcare setting, great meals support health and comfort, and you’ll be part of a collaborative dining team. This role offers full-time hours with benefits, and weekend/holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas.
• Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service.
