Job summary

King Side Diner at St. Louis Lambert International Airport is seeking a dependable Cook to join our team. You will prepare fresh, high-quality food and maintain food safety standards in a fast-paced airport setting.

This part-time position features overnight shifts, weekends and holidays as needed, with opportunities for growth in a supportive team. Prior restaurant experience and the ability to obtain airport security clearance are preferred.

• Monitor quality and report shortages or concerns to management.

• Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
• Assist with prepping ingredients and stocking workstations.
• Monitor food quality and report shortages or quality concerns to management.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Support fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
