Duties and Responsibilities
- Embed a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile.
- Follow our core values (TRIFIC: Trust, Respect, Integrity, First‑Class, Innovation, Commitment) and provide a memorable dining experience.
- Prepare food with 100% recipe adherence; follow recipes or product directions for seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving.
- Maintain production prep list, record accuracy, requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
- Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely; wash, slice, and peel items on prep list.
- Store prepared food safely and date‑label items per brand standards.
- Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices, complying with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items, assist with ordering and planning supplies as directed, report equipment repair and maintenance.
- Monitor rotation and dating of prepped food items, maintain clean and organized work environment free of safety hazards.
- Work well in a fast‑paced environment, detail oriented, multi‑tasking; perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high volume or fast‑casual dining preferred.
- ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Position Qualifications
- Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team‑oriented environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English.
- Self‑starter able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing ladders, and walking long distances.
- Tolerance of high heat, steam, varying odors in the kitchen environment.
