Job summary

Long John Silver’s is seeking reliable and motivated Cooks to prepare high-quality food and support a great guest experience. This role is ideal for students or part-time team members who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced kitchen.

The Cook will contribute to food quality, safety, and speedy service, while following company procedures and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. There are opportunities for growth into leadership roles as well as a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Prepare menu items according to company procedures and cooking times.
• Ensure every order is prepared accurately, with high quality and speed.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures with strong attention to food safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning drains, filters, and equipment per procedures.

• Unload and stock inventory deliveries, using day dots to ensure proper rotation.
• Treat guests and team members with respect at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain proper oil/shortening levels and keep cooking equipment clean
• Unload and stock inventory deliveries, using day dots to ensure proper rotation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning drains, filters, and equipment per procedures
• Treat guests and team members with respect at all times
• Follow all company uniform and safety standards
• Maintain a positive work environment with a culture of teamwork and respect
• Perform other duties assigned by management
