Job summary

Long John Silver’s is seeking reliable, motivated Cooks to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. This position is ideal for students, part-time team members, or anyone who enjoys hands-on work with a positive culture.

You will help ensure food safety, quality, and speed of service, while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to advance into leadership roles as you demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to company procedures and cooking times
• Ensure every order is prepared accurately, with high quality and speed
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures with strong attention to food safety
• Maintain proper oil/shortening levels and keep cooking equipment clean
• Unload and stock inventory deliveries, using day dots to ensure proper rotation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning drains, filters, and equipment per procedures
• Treat guests and team members with respect at all times
• Follow all company uniform and safety standards
• Maintain a positive work environment with a culture of teamwork and respect
• Perform other duties assigned by management
