Job summary

Deepwood Estates by Barclay House is seeking a compassionate Cook to prepare meals for residents according to established menus, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a senior living setting.

Qualified candidates will have a culinary background (high school diploma or GED required; culinary degree preferred), at least 2 years of related experience, and strong knife skills. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is a must.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalence.
• Trade school/Associate/Bachelor's degree in culinary (preferred).
• At least 2 years of related culinary experience.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with cooking methods.
• Experience with therapeutic or modified diets (preferred).
• Flexible to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
