PMG OPCO - SPRINGLAKE LLC at Springlake Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in SHREVEPORT, LA is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals per the menu and ensure safe food handling and sanitation. You will provide nutritionally appropriate meals to residents and maintain high standards of quality in line with regulations.

The role emphasizes nutrition and regulatory compliance, with preferred experience in long-term care and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Formación

• Two years as cook in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.
• One year’s work experience in long term care preferred.

Position Description:

Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Safely and efficiently provides nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. Ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance to Federal, State and Local regulations.
