Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring a Cook to join our kitchen team in San Diego, CA. You will prepare and cook meals for residents, building positive relationships with staff and residents.

We value a clean, safe kitchen and the ability to read and follow recipes and logs. Excellent benefits, including health coverage and a 401(k) match, accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handler permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Dining in a restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of residents' day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
