Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen teams, preparing meals for residents and supporting a restaurant-style dining experience in our communities.

You will work with residents and coworkers in a schedule-driven kitchen, ensuring quality, safety, and cleanliness while maintaining a welcoming dining environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
