Position Summary: Our Nutrition & Food Services Cooks perform a variety of patient food services, cafeteria food services, catered events, and other special assigned tasks under the supervisor of our Nutrition & Food Services leadership team. The Cooks alongside of the Dietary Aides will be responsible for the preparation and execution of meals for patients & their families. The Cooks perform designated work and cleaning routines for the department. The Cooks will ensure that meals are prepared and presented with excellence as to provide quality customer service.
Work Schedule: FTE 0.4, 16 hours per week, 5:30AM-2:00PM or 6:00AM-2:30PM, every other weekend.
Preferred Qualifications: High school education or equivalent preferred but is not required. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and kitchen equipment is helpful. Ability to read, speak and understand English.
