The Buona Companies is hiring for a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards in a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following recipes and uphold Buona standards.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions, following procedures, maintaining portion control, restocking, and ensuring safe, delicious meals for guests. Requirements include strong communication, ability to work fast, a Food Handler certificate, and the ability to stand long periods.

Responsabilités

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly (cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping).
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food to Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared correctly before serving to guests.
• Restock the food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food and cleanliness.
• Be speedy and accurate when fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste per procedures.
• Assist guests dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru with urgency.
• Wash cookware and utensils and clean equipment.
• Clean and sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a Cook, you will be preparing food to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
• Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Restock food line
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
