Learning Experience Corp in Plainfield, IN is looking for a dedicated cook to prepare nutritious meals for children and staff. You will maintain a sanitary kitchen and manage inventory while working Monday–Friday, full time.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff each day
• Follow established menus, portion guidelines, and allergy-safe food procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitary kitchen that meets all state and licensing standards
• Track inventory, manage supply orders, and minimize waste
• Support special events with themed meals and family-friendly celebrations
• Ensure proper food labeling, temperature checks, and safe storage
• Partner with Center leadership and teachers to keep children safe and happy

What You Bring

• Experience as a cook or kitchen assistant in a childcare center, school, or commercial kitchen
• Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
• Excellent organization, time management, and teamwork skills
• A caring and reliable attitude—you love making a difference through food
