Job summary

Candlewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Cook for a full-time role. Based on experience, the compensation aligns with industry standards for healthcare kitchen staff and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The Cook will plan meals, prepare food, cook, and maintain cleanliness while coordinating with the Dietitian and dietary team to serve residents. English reading and speaking ability is required, and prior healthcare food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• It is preferred that Cooks and Dietary Aides have a minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Nursing home, hospital, school or industrial cooking experience required.
