Job summary

Danbury Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to support our dining services. The role involves preparing appetizers, meals, desserts, and snacks under the direction of the Executive Chef, and assisting in serving meals when needed.

A positive attitude and love for seniors are essential. Two-year cook or dietary experience is preferred, with senior living or nursing facility experience being helpful but not required.

• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must.

What do Cooks do at Danbury?

• Our Cooks prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef. Cooks also assist in serving meals as necessary and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
