Job summary

Danbury Senior Living is seeking applicants for Cook positions at our Mount Vernon, OH location. Cooks will prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events under the direction of the Executive Chef, and may assist in serving meals as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cook or dietary experience, with a positive outlook and love for seniors. The position emphasizes a cheerful disposition, patience, and teamwork in a warm, community-focused environment.

What do Cooks do at Danbury?

What experience or skills do you need to be a Cook at Danbury?

• One-year cook or dietary experience.
• Senior living, assisted living, nursing facility experience is helpful but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must.
