Job summary

Danbury Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals under the direction of the Executive Chef and assist with serving when needed. The role focuses on quality, care for residents, and maintaining high service standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cook or dietary experience and a positive, patient demeanor. We value a friendly, resident-focused approach and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• One year kitchen or dietary experience is required.
• Senior living, assisted living, nursing facility experience is helpful but not required.
• A cheerful disposition and love of seniors are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
