Job Description: Cook at Keke's Breakfast Cafe

Join us to apply for the Cook role at Keke's Breakfast Cafe. We are seeking a dedicated individual to prepare a variety of food items and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare food items using various kitchen equipment such as flat top grills, char-broiler, waffle baker, Panini press, and fryer.
2. Ensure the quality of products prepared and served meets our standards.
3. Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies consistently.
4. Maintain sufficient stock levels at line stations for smooth service.
5. Keep workstations, including all equipment and refrigeration, clean and sanitary.
6. Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
7. Handle, store, and rotate products properly.
8. Assist in food prep during off-peak times as needed.
9. Open and close the kitchen according to procedures and assist in closing duties.
10. Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 6 hours).
• Effective communication skills in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Exceptional grooming habits.
