Zusammenfassung

HHS is hiring a full-time hospital cook to prepare meals for patients, visitors and staff at Murray Calloway County Hospital. You will follow approved recipes, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure safe food handling while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include meal assembly, portion control, sanitation, and assisting with department operations. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and pass background checks. Vaccination requirements may apply.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (healthcare focus preferred).
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.
• Preferred: Culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Wage: $18.50/hour
Full-time positions available
Shifts: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, & 11 AM- 7:30 PM
Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
Location: Murray Calloway County Hospital

• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, cooking, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, dietary cook, healthcare foodservice)
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
