Job summary

Camino Ridge Post Acute in Mountain View is seeking a Cook, with training provided, to prepare meals for patients in accordance with medical and safety requirements.

This entry-level opportunity allows you to learn from experienced staff, with AM or PM shifts available and benefits listed.

Qualifications

• 1 year food preparation experience preferred in a hospital or related medical facility.
• Must meet health and background check requirements.
• AM (4:30am–1pm) or PM (11:30am–6:30pm) shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus to ensure ingredients are available/ready.
• Prepares meals in accordance with patient needs and preferences.
• Maintains and files menus per company policies.
• Follows safety, food storage and cleaning standards.
• Listens to and serves patients/residents to ensure a positive meal experience.
• Participates in setting up production line to ensure meals are complete and on time.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment per standards.

Position Summary:

Prepare food in accordance with medical needs of patients and all current federal, state, and local regulations and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services.

Qualifications:

• 1 year food preparation and cooking experience preferably in a hospital, nursing care, or other related medical facility preferred
• Ability to meet all health and background check requirements
• Must be able to work AM shift (4:30am to 1pm) or PM shift (11:30am to 6:30pm)

Responsibilities:
