Country Meadows is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents, starting at $19.50/hour with potential for higher pay based on experience. The role offers a clear career path, on-site training, and ample opportunities to develop culinary skills while maintaining work-life balance.

The position runs 6:30am-2:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays (15 hours bi-weekly), with every other weekend and holiday off. A robust benefits package supports your wellbeing.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking or culinary experience.
• Flexibility to adjust to residents' needs.
• Willingness to learn new food prep techniques and presentation.
• Multi-tasking capability in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role.
• English language proficiency sufficient for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and packages recipes using broilers, ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Ensures all prep work is completed and food quality is maintained.
• Adheres to standard recipes, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Cleans equipment according to schedules and procedures.
• Documents food and temperature records as required.
• Uses Point of Service tech to obtain resident meal orders as needed.
