Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time kitchen helper in Mobile, AL to prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, and ensure safe, clean service areas. You will assist in meal prep, store and rotate foods safely, and keep dining and kitchen spaces spotless.

You will also manage kitchen inventories and document donated goods. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience cooking for large groups is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience cooking for large groups.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to established guidelines and schedules.
• Assist in meal preparation and maintain safe storage of foods.
• Clean dining area, kitchen facilities and equipment; maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain kitchen inventory and supplies to meet needs; receive donated goods and document gifts in kind.

Schedule/Hours: Days/hours vary; (28 hours per week)This position is responsible for:Prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules. Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner.Key Responsibilities:Assists in preparation of meals. Stores, refrigerates, and freezes foods in a safe mannerCleans dining area. Cleans kitchen facilities and equipment. Maintains high degree of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areaMaintain inventory of kitchen food and supplies to meet needs of kitchen.
