Job summary

CareCore at Heritage in Minster, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our Dietary team. You will prepare meals per planned menus, ensure alignment with resident diet orders, and maintain high food quality and sanitation standards to support our senior residents.

Ideal candidates have healthcare cooking experience, knowledge of safe food handling, and a teamwork mindset. This full-time role requires every-other-weekend work and holidays, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare, long-term care, restaurant, or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services.
