Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing all food items following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Assisting cooks in preparing basic dessert items.
  • Prepping assigned items according to Prep Lists and par levels set by management.
  • Storing and handling raw or prepared foods and supplies properly.
  • Measuring and assembling ingredients, and portioning meat, fish, and poultry.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces according to schedules.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary workstation.
  • Handling food in accordance with health guidelines.
  • Following food handling techniques to avoid waste and expense.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene and adhering to dress code.
  • Following safety regulations and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Attending training sessions as assigned.
  • Adhering to uniform, grooming, safety, and sanitation rules.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for measurements.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Auditory and visual skills.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage standards.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
Position Details:

This is an hourly position with variable hours, operating from 9 AM to 2 AM, 7 days a week.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
