Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and measure ingredients according to recipes.


• Prepare basic food items (e.g., sauces, dressings, marinades) as instructed.


• Label, date, and properly store ingredients and prepped items.


• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service.


• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during all food preparation.


• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and tools after use.


• Assist cooks and chefs with additional prep tasks as needed.


• Inform supervisors of low inventory or spoiled items.


• Perform daily kitchen cleaning duties, including trash removal.


• Follow portion control and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook


• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
