Job summary

Spring Mill Health Campus is seeking a Cook to join our dietary team in Merrillville, Indiana. You will prepare meals, verify diet trays, and deliver carts while upholding sanitation and dietary standards in a caring resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and cooking food in large quantities is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and dietary procedures is helpful.
• Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions related to assigned duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.

As a Cook, you will play an important role in improving our residents’ daily experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing food, checking diet trays, serving meals, and following dietary and sanitation procedures.

OPEN INTERVIEWS: Monday–Friday | 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
