Job summary

Brookside Commons is seeking a dependable Cook to join our senior living community. You will prepare flavorful meals per planned menus while ensuring dietary requirements and safety standards are met.

You will work with dietary and nursing staff to create a welcoming dining experience, maintain cleanliness, and support the dietary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience preferred in senior living, healthcare, restaurant, or institutional settings.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special-diet instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve attractive, flavorful meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Follow resident-specific diets, food textures, allergies, and nutritional requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served at the proper temperature and on schedule.

We are looking for a dependable, caring, and talented Cook to join our senior living community at Brookside Commons! In this role, you’ll do much more than prepare great food—you’ll help create an enjoyable dining experience that residents look forward to each day.

What You’ll Do
