Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring a grill cook/cashier to join our team. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, with duties spanning food prep, cooking, cashier responsibilities, and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has cooking experience, reliability, and a focus on sanitation. We offer uniforms, PPE, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned dining services company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in the food industry preferred
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow directions and recipes
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
• Must pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Execute recipes to the letter
• Follow production sheets and meet daily deadlines
• Set up and tear down of workstation
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, equipment and utensils
• Provide high-quality guest service and operate a meat slicer safely
• Handle cashier duties and money transactions

Job description

We are adding a grill cook/cashier to our team! Monday through Thursday. 10am-6:30pm.

Essential Functions:

• MUST HAVE COOKING EXPERIENCE.
• DEPENDABLE & PUNCTUAL is a MUST!
• Be self-motivated. Does not need to be micro-managed.
• Team Player
• Follows all cleanliness, organization, sanitation and food safety.
• Must be able to follow directions and recipes.
• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• Must have cashier and money handling experience

• Execute recipes to the letter
• Follows and completes production sheets
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Set up and tear down of workstation
• Polite and professional communication style
• Understands and utilizes FIFO
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Properly operates a meat slicer and executes proper knife handling
• All other duties as requested by the leadership team
