Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a grill cook to join our daytime kitchen team in Saint Paul, MN. The role runs Monday through Friday with hours from early morning to mid-afternoon, and there are no nights or weekends. You will prepare meals to recipe standards and contribute to a fast-paced school dining operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment.
• Do simple arithmetic.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Be able to lift 30 Lbs.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.

Essential Functions:

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• Execute recipes to the letter
• Follow all food safety and sanitation expectations
• Follows and completes production sheets
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Set up and tear down of workstation
• Polite and professional communication style
• Understands and utilizes FIFO
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Properly operates a meat slicer and executes proper knife handling
• All other duties as requested by the leadership team

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience. $22.00 - $27.00 / hour
