Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a full-time kitchen staff member for an evening shift (11:30am-8:00pm) in Mechanicsburg, PA. The role involves assisting in simple recipes, batch cooking, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and quality.

Schedule & Compensation

• Status: Full-time Position
• Hours: 11:30am-8:00pm
• every other weekend and every other holiday are required
• No late nights!
• Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Job Description

• Assists in simple recipes for hot and cold food preparation. Batch cook items ensuring optimal food quality, i.e., scrambled eggs, french-fries, vegetables, fish, etc.
• Follows “counts” designated on production sheets as written.
• Informs Chef when a recipe or food production sheet needs to be modified and informs Chef of potential shortages.
• Instructs attendants in regard to menu offerings and/or menu changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control and quality assurance
