Job summary

Bright Futures Early Learning Center Inc is seeking a dependable Cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

You will deliver meals to classrooms, accommodate dietary needs, help plan menus, track inventory and keep the kitchen clean while maintaining food safety records. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, Serv Safe and Allergen certifications, ability to pass background checks, and strong organization and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Serv Safe Food Handler and Allergen certifications required.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Strong organization, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact positively with children.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Three to five years of kitchen experience preferred; childcare experience a plus.
