Job summary

The Arbor Company in Manassas, VA is hiring a Part-Time Cook (PRN). Choose your schedule: 6:00am–2:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm, with every other weekend.

No late nights, free meals on shift, and stable hours in senior living. Prepare meals using established recipes, support residents with dining experiences, maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, and collaborate with the Dining Director to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, food safety, and portion control.
• Experience with large-batch cooking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious meals using established recipes, menu cycles, and diet modifications.
• Help create an exceptional dining experience for residents every day.
• Assist with food deliveries, inventory rotation, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Partner with the Dining Director to ensure smooth meal service and production flow.
