Qualifications

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a ServSafe food safety certification.
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Cook I is responsible for preparing center meals, establishing menu, and determining quantities of food needed.
  • Plans and coordinates procedures necessary for day-to-day operation of center dining facility.
  • Efficient and timely arrangement, servicing, and clean-up of meals.
  • Cook I maintains complete inventory file on food and equipment, ensures minimum waste through storage and utilization.
  • Maintains strict safety and sanitation codes and procedures.
  • Submits weekly activity and other reports as assigned.

Service Contract Act (SCA) Position


Hourly Rate: $17.20


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Cook I is responsible for preparing center meals, establishing menu, and determining quantities of food needed.
