The Waffle in Hollywood is seeking an experienced cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Promoting from within is encouraged as candidates learn the kitchen and may take on supervisory duties. Pay is performance-based and supplemented by tips in a busy diner setting.

The Waffle is looking for an experienced cook who is ready work! Looking for strong Cooks. PROMOTIONS AVAILABLE for those who go after the position, learn our kitchen and are willing and able to take-on supervisory duties. We always favor promoting from within. Cook pay is based on performance. Cooks also receive tips. Our work hours are Mon-Fri 6AM-4PM, SAT-Sun 6AM-6PM must have good availability and weekend availability. Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Job Types:

• Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour plus tips ( range between $3-$5 an hour usually)
