Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working as a cook.

• Availability to work mornings (5:30 AM-2 PM) and weekends.
• Ability to prepare and present food to Country Waffles' standards.
• Basic math skills and understanding of units of measure.
• Meet health regulations related to food handling.
• Pass required tests and training for the position.
• Flexible schedule and excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry 10-65 lbs. during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to our recipes and brand standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and accommodate special requests.
• Ensure food safety by following prep procedures and properly storing items.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with inventory management and monitor waste to control food costs.
• Clean and maintain cooking equipment and complete side work efficiently.
• Address customer concerns courteously and elevate issues when needed.
