Job Title: Cook at Long Beach Day Nursery

Join our team as a Cook at Long Beach Day Nursery, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality childcare in Long Beach for over 113 years. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals in the food industry to make a difference in children's lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks with correct portion sizes.
• Creating and posting weekly menus in compliance with regulations.
• Managing shopping lists and food budgets.
• Following standardized recipes and ensuring proper food substitutions for allergies.
• Maintaining sanitation and safety standards in food preparation and storage.
• Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:15 am to 3:45 pm.
