Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Cook to prepare, season, and cook a variety of food items in line with menus and production sheets. You will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and coordinate with staff on menus, recipes, and portion sizes.

Under general supervision, you will follow HACCP guidelines, use proper equipment for standard recipes, and participate in ongoing training to develop within the industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• 1+ years of quantity cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities following menus, recipes and production sheets.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area and adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies and procedures.
• Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes.
• Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes.
• Participates in training with other production staff to advance within the industry.
