HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking a Lead Cook to join the team and ensure high‑quality patient and cafeteria meals.

Qualifications

• Serv Safe (HACCP) certification within 90 days of hire preferred.
• Formal training in accredited culinary program preferred.

• Ability to read and write English. Must be able to calculate menu/recipe conversions. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Properly handles, prepares, serves and stores food items for all services in compliance with department policies/procedures, regulatory agency standards, HACCP Guidelines and Sodexo Production Standards (Gold Checks and Food Safety audit).
• Coordinates activities for daily food service operations throughout FANS, focusing on the PM cafeteria and the AYR area. Primary focus to ensure timely and accurate meal service for Patient Services and Cafeteria.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

Properly handles, prepares, serves and stores food items for all services of the department in compliance with department policies/procedures, regulatory agency standards, HACCP Guidelines and Sodexo Production Standards (Gold Checks and Food Safety audit). Complies with recipes and able to adjust for volume as required. Participates in the department Performance Improvement Program. Maintains sanitation standards as defined by department policies/procedures. Coordinates activities for daily food service operations throughout FANS, focusing on the PM cafeteria and the AYR area. Primary focus to ensure timely and accurate meal service for Patient Services and Cafeteria.
