Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen, following Sunrise standards and standardized recipes. You will manage food temperatures, stock and rotate supplies, and maintain documentation for quality and safety in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include supporting dishwashing and dining service, and stepping in to lead production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
