Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring quality, taste, and adherence to standardized recipes and dietary modifications.

You will follow food safety guidelines, maintain clean kitchens, and assist with dishwashing and dining service, while producing meals in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
