Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon is seeking a Cook to join our friendly team in a Skilled Nursing setting. The role involves preparing meals, ensuring dietary needs are met, and maintaining food safety by recording temperatures and following recipes for large volumes.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education is required.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day by cooking and serving meals.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and ensure safety by recording temperatures.
• Follow recipes to prepare large volumes of food with attention to quality.

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
