Job summary

Big League Dreams Las Vegas is seeking a Cook to join our food and beverage team. You will be working under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage, handling cleaning, inventory, and preparation of food items in a timely, sanitary manner.

Responsibilities include preparing orders, organizing prep areas, receiving inventory, stocking and maintaining quality, and keeping the kitchen and dining spaces clean and safe in a fast-paced setting.

• Monitor stock levels and inform management of restock needs.

As a Cook and member of the Big League Dreams team, you will be working under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage. Your job duties will range from cleaning, inventory, and preparation of food items in a timely, efficient, sanitary manner.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare orders accurately in a timely manner and fast-paced environment.
• Organize food prep areas for fast efficient service.
• Prep orders to fit business and quality standards as well as customer needs
• Receive and store all food and beverage inventory according to the First In, First Out method
• Responsible for stocking and prep
• Monitor food quality to ensure it stays within company standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment within the kitchen, walk-in coolers, etc.
• Clean equipment, tables, windows and floors within the dining space
• Monitor stock levels and provide Manager with restock needs on a timely basis.

Special Physical Requirements of the Job/Working Conditions:

• Routinely required to work extended hours of time including weekdays/nights, and weekends.
• Must be able to move quickly to assist customers.
• Reach for high placed boxes and items, handle or feel objects or controls, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and climb stairs.
• Routinely lift or move up to 50 pounds at least 40% of the time.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather conditions, dust and particles, and loud noises.
