Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a nutrition service team member to participate in daily food preparation, delivery and service to customers. You will assist with setup, sanitation, labeling and safe food handling practices while maintaining inventory control.

The role includes covering 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, typically Monday through Thursday, starting at 9:00 am and ending at 7:30 pm. The position emphasizes accountability when managers are unavailable and requires a Food Handlers

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year food service experience.
• Food Handlers Permit issued by Jackson County Health Department.

Job Description

This position is responsible for the active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including but not limited to preparation delivery or service to customers. Workflow includes set up food preparation clean up and sanitation of work areas dishes wares or equipment inventory control product rotation proper labeling and safe food handling practices. Is accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available. This position would work 4 10 hour shifts weekly, Monday-Thursday. Shift starts at 9am and ends 7:30p.

Applicable Experience: 1 year Food Handlers Permit - Jackson County Health Department.
