• Review menus and production sheets to determine daily food preparation needs.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, food preparation areas, and equipment.
• Receive and inspect food and supply deliveries as needed.
• Assist with training team members on kitchen equipment and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and in-service education.
• Report equipment concerns and supply needs promptly.
• Follow food safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and workplace safety policies.

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Every other weekend: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• One weekday per week: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• One weekday per week: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary

McCormick Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our Culinary Services team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of our residents. Working alongside the Dining Services team, you will ensure meals are prepared according to standardized recipes, therapeutic diets, and food safety standards while creating an exceptional dining experience.
