Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a Cook for an established catering company in the Orange City, IA area. You will work as part of the dining services team to produce meals on time, following authentic recipes, and ensuring quality and presentation.

The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment, attention to food safety, and a willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks. DOE compensation and full-time hours offered, with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafeCertification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
• Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all times.
• Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.

An established catering company in the Orange City, IA area is hiring a cook to join their growing team! As a cook, you will work on a team to make the best food they can with authentic recipes. You will work cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary. If you are enthusiastic about cooking and serving people, then this is the job for you!
