Job summary

Chateau Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, following planned menus and dietary requirements.

You will maintain sanitation, assist with tray line, and ensure timely delivery to patient areas, while collaborating with the dietary team to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with the dietary team and maintain a positive working environment.

• Prepare and serve daily meals in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas.
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction.
