Cook at Providence Hood River Hospital - Full-time, Day Schedule

Responsibilities

The cook provides for and oversees the delivery of meal services to patients and hospital visitors. The cook is responsible for following all safe food handling regulations, practices and procedures. In the absence of the department manager, the cook may serve as a lead for the unit and may help with online ordering of food inventory.

Qualifications

• National Food Handler Card – State County City Authority upon hire.

Preferred Qualification

• Hospital or other professional culinary experience.

Pay Range

$20.00 – $28.20 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/include, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
