The Avenue at Westshore in Holland Charter Township, Michigan, is seeking a Cook to join our dietary team. Open or close the kitchen, prepare and serve meals meeting dietary guidelines, and help maintain high safety standards in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Formación

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsabilidades

• Open or close the kitchen and operate equipment safely.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure safety.
• Supervise dietary aides and maintain food quality standards.
• Set up hydration and hospitality carts.
• Clean steam tables, prep areas, and kitchen equipment.
• Wash pots and pans, sweep, and follow daily cleaning schedules.
• Complete pre-prep tasks for upcoming meals.
